Taylor Gray is a Senior Associate Scientist who brings extensive CNS tissue culture engineering and cellular modeling expertise to the team. She completed her B.S. and M.S. in Microbiology at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. Her thesis explored the complex immune responses elicited during adenovirus-36 infection and its subsequent role in obesity and breast cancer. Taylor is passionate about making therapeutics for neurodegenerative disorders, as her family is impacted by this. Therefore, she pivoted to the neurology field starting her career at Biogen. There she built multiple multicellular static and microfluidic blood-brain barrier (BBB) tissue models from induced pluripotent stem cell derived cell lines to assess therapeutic penetration across the BBB.
